The Invisible Visible
Braille is a system that consists of dots arranged in different fixed positions on a grid that are read with the fingers. To them only a small part of civilisation, it is very important. By making the invisible visible, I want to draw more attention to this important element in our infrastructure.
How am I going to make the invisible visible? I want to challenge that visibility by manipulating paper using embossing, pricking and puff ink. Through touch, you receive much more information than only by sight.
Let your hand be guided through the story that it is telling, and tilt the paper. Do you see how the light changes the landscape and texture of the paper?
